Power Generation

Emgen2000 - Emergency, Standby, or Prime Generator Set

This product is an electrical generator set, producing between 16-18 KW of 120/240 volts A. C. power. Also included is a highly sophisticated 200 ampere rated automatic transfer switch.
Power is provided by a 2.2 litre converted automobile engine driving a 4 pole generator. What is unique about the Emgen2000 is its ability to run on a variety of fuels, such as methane, hydrogen, propane, natural gas, or gasoline.

Future developments will include enhancements to allow fuels as diverse as used motor oil/saltwater combinations, or a variety of other materials containing hydrocarbons, such as recycled used automobile tires.

From Aerosols to Plasmas
Hydrocarbon fuels may be solids like coal, or liquids like gasoline, which can be separated into small pieces or droplets, mixed with and carried by air, and are commonly referred to as aerosols.
Although the technology is over 100 years old, the aerosol method is still the most widely used fuel delivery system for internal combustion engines today.

The Emgen2000 represents a quantum leap forward because of its gas-phase plasma fuel delivery system. Perhaps the simplest way to explain this process is by stating that the fuel is drawn through a reactor and the hydrocarbons are reduced to an atomic gas plasma, or we might say a synthetic natural gas.
Not only does this process allow for a variety of fuels to be used, and allow for much greater economy of operation, but does so with virtually zero exhaust emissions!
Even running on standard gasoline, the Emgen2000's fuel efficiency is 50% to 70% better than a comparable fuel injected engine.

The GEET System
The Global Environmental Energy Technology (GEET) was a further development of an earlier vapor gas-phase fuel delivery system that delivered the fuel in a pre-mixed
combustion ready state. The GEET system as developed by GEET Technologies, was only about 70% developed as far as a higher technology is concerned.

Microtech Power Systems has taken this technology to a new level, by the incorporation of a very sophisticated electronic printed circuit board, which controls a single injector firing the gas plasma from the reactor into the engine through a specially designed Air Management Valve (AMV).
So many enhancements have been made to this technology that we are now referring to it as the "Microtech Plasma System", rather than the GEET system.
Further innovations to this 21st century technology, include testing a device which we will call a "nebulizer", that may even ultimately replace the reactor.

Airtesion® Water Generator

The Airtesion water generator is perhaps one of the most needed products in the marketplace today, with the earth's supply of fresh water dwindling, and also the poor quality of water in many areas. Many municipal water systems are facing increasing amounts of chemical pollutants such as MBTE, while some coastal cities are experiencing salinization of freshwater wells due to falling water tables and resultant encroachment by sea water. Some countries in Latin America, such as Honduras, have such degraded water supplies that virtually everyone buys bottled water. The bottled water on the other hand, is so bad that many people even boil it before drinking.

The current crisis in many areas is well illustrated by this excerpt from a 1998 article in th the Jordanian Star newspaper:

Water Crisis

By Ibtisam Awadat
Star Staff Writer

"THE CURRENT crisis over Amman's contaminated water supply and the increasing demand for clean drinking water has triggered a 'mineral water crisis'. Mineral water has become a rare and coveted product"

"I searched for a bottle of mineral water to make my grandson some milk," said one exasperated grandmother. "The shop owners told me not to bother, because it's a waste of time", she added.

"Meanwhile, reports have been coming in from the Customs Dept. that mineral water is being smuggled in from neighboring countries like Syria, Saudi Arabia, and Israel. Consequently, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has notified concerned parties to strengthen their procedures to prevent chaos or abuse amongst retailers".

The Airtesion water generator is a product that can provide a low-cost solution to the crisis in clean water. It utilizes the earth's natural hydrological cycle of evaporation and condensation, which has functioned for thousands of years, always maintaining a proper balance. It has been estimated that there are 4,000 cubic miles of water in the earth's atmosphere at any given moment, comprising only a minute portion of the earth's total water, yet is always in perfect balance irrespective of mans activities.

Ever since the invention of de-humidifiers and air-conditioners, water has been extracted by the process of refrigeration, but the resulting water is usually discarded as waste. The technologies that are under final evaluation for the Airtesion unit, however, go far beyond the simple refrigerant generation process. Currently two prototypes are being tested utilizing two different approaches; the first utilizing thermo-electric, or Peltier effect, which when electrical current is induced through a chip, one end generates heat, and the other experiences cooling. If air is drawn over a series of chips it becomes progressively cooler until dew point is reached and condensation occurs.

The other technology utilizes compressed air, which is forced through a specially shaped venturii tube, whereby the air experiences a rapid expansion, cooling, and condensation again occurs. These two prototypes are being closely evaluated for energy efficiency, as well as overall thermal efficiency, and a final decision will be made very shortly for finalized design. The Airtesion water generator will also utilize the following features:

Pre-filtered Air - Air is filtered through a large reusable filter to remove large particulate matter such as dust, dirt, and other foreign matter.

Electrostatic Air Filtration - Secondary filter to remove microscopic particles such as pollen, molds, animal danders, and any other airborne matter in the micron range.

Water Filtration - Carbon block type filtration to remove microscopic impurities down to 1 micron, and filter out other impurities that might cause an off-taste.

Multiple Ultraviolet Exposures - To kill 99.9% of all bacteria, viruses, algae, and any other microorganisms that might be present in the water.

Fully Automatic Sensors - "Smart" technology to monitor and control all phases in the water generation process. Machine will cease to operate and warning lights will indicate when a filter needs changing, or ultraviolet bulb burns out. These sensors will provide an extra measure of safety, so at no time will the integrity of the water generation process be compromised.

Unlimited Potential
The Airtesion unit for home use is projected to generate 200-300 gallons a day, depending on ambient temperatures and humidity, and at a cost of just 5 to 8 cents per gallon. This is sufficient for most of an average household's needs, including bathing. (Certainly we want to drink pure water, but why absorb harmful chemicals when taking a shower or bath?) In addition, the technology is easily scalable, meaning units generating into the hundreds of thousands of gallons are quite feasible.

We feel that this technology alone is poised for explosive growth, and Microtech Power Systems has the potential to be the market leader.

Emerging Crises - Emerging Opportunities

Water
On March 17-22, 2000, hundreds of water specialists, politicians, leading experts and top officials from all of across the globe will meet in the Hague, the Netherlands, For the Second World Water Forum & Ministerial Conference. This conference is sponsored by the World Water Commission, a global organization with a permanent Secretariat, which has been formed to deal with the world's water crisis. In the Dublin and Rio de Janeiro Earth Summits, principles were adopted to lay the groundwork for a global solution to this problem. As was stated in the introduction of the draft World Water Commission Report;

"A holistic systemic approach relying on Integrated Water Resource Management must replace the fragmentation that currently exists in managing water."

Of course globalists have been using "environmental concerns" as one of the platforms to bring in world governance for some time now, but the crisis concerning water resources is so great that they need to muster help from every sector, including technology.

The Crisis
Fresh water is a precious resource as only 2.5 percent of the world's water is not salty, and of that, two-thirds are locked up in the ice caps and glaciers. Of the remaining amount, subject to the continuous hydrological cycle, some 20% is in areas too remote for human access, and of the remaining 80%, or about three-quarters, is in the wrong time and place, such as monsoons and floods, and is not captured for use. The remainder is less than 0.08 of 1% of the total water on the planet. Water is a precious commodity indeed.

About 70% of this water is used in agriculture to grow the food and fiber on which human society depends. About 10% is used for municipal water use, for households, and industry.

In addition to the unsolved "old problems" (more than one billion people do not have access to water supply) there are the "new problems" of environmental degradation.
For example:
  • Aquifers are being mined at an unprecedented rate -10% of the world's agricultural food production depends on using mined groundwater. Water tables are dropping in fossil aquifers, including the western United States, and water tables are falling as much as a meter a year in many parts of Mexico, India, Yemen, China and elsewhere.
  • Water diversions for irrigation have had devastating effects In Central Asia, with the Aral Sea shrinking to a fraction of its original size.
  • Urbanization and agricultural practices have reduced the size of the Everglades to less than half of its original size, with corresponding losses in environmental functions.
  • The Huang He (Yellow River) did not run into the sea for more than 220 days in 1997
  • Freshwater fish are becoming extinct five times faster than salt water species.
  • Deforestation and land degradation, salinization, and water contamination by chemicals, fertilizers, and human waste are all serious issues in many parts of the world.

To quote the World Water Report further: "Technology must, can, and will change radically in order to adapt to the needs of the more water conscience world. Less wasteful, and more sensitive of the environmental and social dimensions of decisions, these technologies will draw on traditional wisdom as much as they will harness the revolutionary changes taking place in the biological, information, and energy fields."

As stated previously, 70% of current fresh water usage is in agriculture to grow food and fiber for an ever-increasing global population. In most areas of the world, irrigation is used extensively in crop production. Open irrigation is extremely wasteful of water resources, since 90% of the water used is lost to evaporation. Here again we propose to bring forth new technologies to meet these challenges. Energy
The current shortage in oil production, and the attendant skyrocketing prices, have once again brought energy concerns into the public consciousness. As stated earlier in this report, estimates have put known oil reserves being depleted in 30 or so years, at current rates of consumption. There is no question about the need to find alternatives to fossil fuels, not only from an economic standpoint, but from an environmental one as well.
We will be discussing some new technologies in this report that will provide viable alternatives to current and inefficient uses of our valuable water and energy resources. Douglas Casey, the author of Crisis Investing quotes an old Oriental maximum; Crisis + Investment = Opportunity. We concur with that maxim. Coming Soon Advanced Plant-Growing Systems
Unfortunately, this technology was borne out of catastrophe, by way of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. A technique was needed to grow food out of the nuclear devastated ground, which was all but useless. Hydroponics was one option, but in order to use this system of crop production, large amounts of water are required. For example, one tomato needs around 120 gallons of water to grow. Ninety-seven percent of that is lost to evaporation.
The Advanced Plant-Growing System allows crops to be produced out of the ground, and uses only a couple of gallons of water for the entire growing cycle. This is the most advanced plant growing method available, and drastically reduces the time to take a plant through the growing cycle.
Advanced Construction Systems
With the help of gas filled, interlocking polymer blocks and a rubber hammer, a self-supporting dome covering 10 acres or more, can be erected within a day. The gas pressure can be increased or decreased, as desired to control the amount of light penetration, producing a completely controlled environment. Combine this with the water production technology, the electricity generation, and you can create a completely self-sufficient environment anywhere, even in the middle of a desert.

High Tensile Concrete
Imagine a 1-inch thick slab of concrete that is 1000 times stronger than an equivalent 4-inch thick, reinforced section of traditional concrete. The amount of concrete needed to put a structure up, is dramatically reduced using this method of concrete making. The advantages of increased strength and reduced mass, means huge cost savings in construction.

Turbowave Communication System
The wireless communication network of the 21st century. This will provide massive bandwidth, allowing for huge amounts of data to be transmitted and received over the air, eliminating the need for wired connections. Couple this with user mobility, and you get unlimited access from any position on the planet.
With 400 million people expected to be online by the end of this year, Turbowave is poised to fulfil and exceed the need for greater speed and capacity that users have been demanding for such a long time. Privacy is also provided. All this, at a fraction of the cost of traditional communication systems.
